join our walk in celebration of International Women’s Day 2022

To mark International Women’s Day, walk with us on tuesday 08 march at 14:00

Join staff and friends of The Bridge in celebrating International Women’s Day 2022 with our guided walk around the local area. The walk will visit sites in the local area that remind us of the work and lives of extraordinary women that have fought for the freedom and rights that we enjoy today. From the Ladies’ Bridge, to Mary Seacole’s Statue and Crossbones Gardens, walking through these sites will also bring us together to reflect on the daily struggles of all women who have, and continue to experience various forms of inequality.  

The walk will start from The Bridge Café at 14:00, finishing around 15:45/16:00 at Crossbones Graveyard (open on that day).
